Let It Go….
Well we just can’t let it go! Frozen themed cakes never go out of style and we love creating them for our Anna and Elsa loving customers!
This Frozen themed cake was for Miss Izzy on her 3rd birthday! We swirled together light blue, pink and purple buttercream and piped rosettes on each tier. We used a tri-coupler, which creates the swirled effect without mashing all the colors together. Keeping the colors distinct ensures that your design will look the same throughout, which was the look we were going for here.
Once the rosettes were piped, we added white fondant snowflakes in a variety of sizes. We then added a plaque with Izzy’s name on it in a glittery blue font. To complete the look, we used the same blue glitter to accent the number 3 topper, which was made in advance to hold it’s shape. Not pictured here, were several dozen cupcakes with a coordinating multi-color swirl with snowflake accents. Adorable…and delicious!
