It’s not everyday that we get to create a retirement cake for a NFL Referee!
This cake was simple and fun! We started with a smooth, white buttercream base. We then used a T-shirt template to cut the shape of the Referee jersey. We added the black fondant stripes and NFL patch. We also had to include a fondant whistle around the neck, of course!
Lastly, we added the iconic yellow flag, which added a pop of color to the cake. With a simple “Happy Retirement” message on the board, this cake was complete!
