This cake was such a fun breath of fresh air! It’s very wintry here, so Spring flowers and green grass – even on a cake – is a welcome sight!
When it came time to create the cake, we took two layers of cake and iced them in green and added a grass border at the base. We then began creating the garden scene on top with more buttercream grass and cookie crumb dirt path. We placed the larger pieces first, the bench and flower pots. We then filled in with blossoms, grasses and other flowers to give it an english garden feel. What is your favorite part of this cake? We love it all!
