We love delivering to Dresser Mansion. It’s old worldly charm is felt right when you walk in the door. Dresser is right off Riverside Drive in Tulsa – so close to the Gathering Place!
This particular set up allowed the cake to greet each visitor right when they entered the mansion. The gilded monogram on perfectly smooth buttercream is the first thing that catches the eye. It was made from a custom template and cut our of fondant then painted an antique gold. The same gold was painted on imperfectly around the base of each tier.
Once at Dresser Mansion, we were able to place the fresh flowers. We love when florists leave us a variety of sizes and colors to play with on the cake. We opted for two bundles staggered on the cake and we then added pops of greenery to give it a more natural look.
Finally, we added the ‘Happily Ever After’ topper that we painted in an edible hold paint to match the rest of the cake.
This cake was so fun to create and presented beautiful at the venue! We wish the happy couple a lifetime of happiness!!
