Dark teal is officially my new favorite Fall color! Mixed with all the traditional colors of the season, it just adds a pop of lovely that I never knew the season needed!
We created this cake for one of my favorite venues, The Hidden Porch, in Catoosa, OK. This outdoor venue has all the Fall vibes with natural scenery and fairy lights. And when the weather turns crisp and cool, this venue is P E R F E C T!
For this cake, we iced each tier in buttercream and then covered each tier in satin ice fondant. We used a combination of teal and navy Americolor gel food color to get the perfect dark teal. Once each tier was covered in fondant, we stacked the cake using bubble straws and dowels for support.
We added faux flowers and dried oranges for accents. We then finished the look with edible rose gold leaf for a pop of metallic.
