Metallics are big right now in the world of cakes and when it comes the metals, GOLD certainly takes the cake!
We took several trends and combined them to create this 5 tier beauty that will serve just under 150 people. We mixed traditional 4″ tiers with a jumbo 6″ tier on the bottom to give this cake a little more height. We placed it on a pedestal cake stand, which is very popular right now. Additionally, we lightened our gold a little to give it more of a champagne/gold hybrid feel. Then we added a pop of coral with the florals, which is the Pantone color of the year for 2019. All these trends came together to create a sophisticated and elegant look.
The hand-piped details are what make this cake so special. With a mix of scrolls, paisleys, flowers and other flourishes, these details are sure to wow your reception guests!
